At this property in Phoenix, we faced the challenge of working with the existing, aggressive brick on the home. Although the client chose not to repaint or restucco the house, we were able to harmonize with the brick by skillfully selecting materials, opting for soft white and earthy tones, complemented by smoky blacks and grays to blend with the brick’s existing shades.

The project features a striking 4K cantilevered patio cover over an outdoor fireplace and fire pit, with precision-cut track bench seating. The outdoor kitchen is clad in natural stone, with a countertop designed to mimic a large, thick slab. The two beautifully designed planters highlight the backyard, with large ficus trees adding softness around the space. Additionally, we installed 4K fencing with a gate to keep pets away from the pool and added extra courses of block to the top of the wall for a distinctive design touch. This project was a unique and rewarding experience, with significant involvement in material selection and design.
